Maybe it was a school trip to a national park in 1984 or maybe a hike with the rival Dojos as adults... But Daniel and Johnny are lost in hostile terrain and have to team up to survive. Maybe someone falls down a ravine and gets injured, maybe a grizzly bear is stalking them. Maybe it's snowing... Go nuts.

Ugh, there was such a good one that I read once! It's on AO3 and if I find it, I'll link it. But I'm supporting more of these fics because I need me some dangerous situations where one saves another. :)

Working on something similar. Some hints - lost, someone throws alcohol away in a moment of 'i'm not an alcoholic, see I'll prove it!' And then because they're suffering withdrawals no one believes then when they think something following is them......
