Could be KK or CK era. Kreese goes crazy (crazier) and abducts carate rivals. Could be Miguel and Robby or Kid Daniel and Kid Johnny, and tries to make them fight to the death over a snake pit like he had to in 'Nam.

Twist. The kids make friends in the cage and turn on him.

Maybe it starts vicious and then one shows mercy and the other is about to kill him and stops. I see Johnny the one who stops first with Daniel's past anger and trauma playing a part.
I see this being Kreese and Terry together, maybe revenge after events of KK3

OMG love the idea of Terry and Kreese teaming up to get revenge on Daniel again, but then they get bored and decide to get revenge on Johnny for no fucking reason.

Yeah. They want someone to fight and Barnes is like, peace out, coz he's not an idiot so they go find the next best thing and find Johnny and trick him into coming back.
