Daniel and Amanda break up and Daniel starts showing up at the Dojo with injuries. At first it's bruises and grazes but it's gets worse, one day he arrives on Johnnys doorstep, beaten and bleeding, needing serious patching up. He got in way over his head with the wrong person.

Turns out that being subjected to such a lot of violence by powerfully built men in his youth awoke something dark in him and he wants to be hurt sexually...Badly hurt. His experiences with Johnny and the Cobras were only the start of it, Chozen almost choking him to death with the bo staff, Mike Barnes kicking him in the balls, Silver doing Whatever TF we imagine he did. It all had an impact on his youthful sexuality and now he can't shake it and nothing feels like enough abuse.

Johnny doesn't know much about BDSM but he knows this level of self destruction has to stop. He also knows some pretty weird people so he takes Daniel to talk with a woman he knows whose a dominatrix.

She teaches them how to have a safe, sane, consensual dynamic and Johnny takes care of Daniel properly.

Okay I adore this prompt, and I will admit. For some reason I can totally imagine Shannon being the dominatrix Johnny knows.

Like, Johnny loved being a sub for Shannon (he canonically loves being dominated by women in his fantasy space), but eventually the fantasy of “turning the tables” got too intense, too often for them, and it eventually devolved into bickering Doms, one who knew what she was doing, and one who really REALLY didn’t (and who now, with Daniel, is finally willing to learn).

Also the idea of Daniel’s burgeoning masochism is a delight to me. Like Terry being the first to really take advantage of it (and more often than not in the worst sort of way… he was a horrible Dom who overly indulged his sadistic streak with a naive Daniel… think not even letting Daniel even know about safe words, let alone have one sadistic), Amanda being the second one to domme Daniel and also helping Daniel recover from what Terry did to him, thus often leading her to be a bit gentler in her sadomasochism than Daniel would have liked (which is also why Daniel is so SO devastated after their otherwise-amicable divorce), and Johnny being the third (almost like a Goldilocks and the three bears sort of situation, Johnny’s the perfect fit for Daniel).

This puts Johnny is a very tough position. Because if someone doesn't know where their boundaries are it can be downright dangerous for them to do BDSM activities. In cases like that the best a Dom can do is watch them carefully and draw the line when they start getting upset but it's a hard line to find. It involves a lot of talking about feelings. Poor Johnny.

Naturally, it’s not as easy as he thought now that he’s in his mid-50s, so Johnny gets frustrated. Then Silver shows up with his stupid ponytail and Daniel can’t keep his eyes off him, and it pisses him off even more.
