A man from Kreese’s past is out to get revenge by stealing the thing he holds most dear. He correctly identifies that person to be Johnny and kidnaps him only a few months after high school ends.

It takes six months for them to find Johnny beaten and bruised in the guy’s basement or whatever, and even though they try, nobody can get Johnny to speak about what happened to him during those months. In fact, Johnny won’t speak at all.

Daniel has been following the case since the moment he heard about Johnny’s disappearance. For reasons he can’t explain, he feels compelled to see Johnny and so visits him in the hospital. Daniel becomes the single person who Johnny seems to respond to—not verbally, but physically. So Daniel keeps coming back, hoping to help heal this broken boy one gentle touch at a time.
