I’ve got an ache deep in my soul for something to happen to Johnny that finally gives him the ability to let go and have a good cry. One of those cleansing, unburdening, years of repressed emotions dam-bursting cry sessions. And I *need* Daniel to bear witness and offer comfort. He needs to see this poor neglected, emotionally abused, and wounded creature with new eyes, drop the ‘holier than thou’ rivalry shtick and offer him the simple comfort of just being there and holding him.

Up to the writer how Johnny gets to this point. Maybe he has a run in with Sid and the a-hole says some pretty awful stuff that he claims Johnny’s mother use to say about him? Maybe Johnny and Daniel are doing a little buddies that are still kinda rival’s bonding drinking and Johnny gets hammered on the one type of booze that always leaves him a weepy, confession spilling drunk. Maybe something totally different, you decide! Just give me Daniel feeling his soul slowly being crushed with sorrow while an emotionally vulnerable Johnny sobs into his neck/chest/wherever.

Bonus points for gentle aftercare, double bonus points for including any form of gentle bathing, and/or tucking johnny into bed

Triple bonus points if we get to see any of the positive after effects on Johnny after their sob sesh.

I will give my first born up for this.

You're welcome! I kind of feel like I just write the same thing over and over again, but then I realized that some people might just like to have a lot of different options for the same general plot so I hope you enjoy them. :)
