Kk: Lawrusso, Johnny and Sid bonding, the angst of being queer in the eighties

The whole reason Sid married Laura in the first place was he needed a beard to hide the fact that he was gay. Laura is fully aware. Johnny wasn't, and that's why Sid never got along with him, he didn't think he'd be a good father or influence on Johnny because of his homosexuality.

Course, Johnny ends up falling for Daniel anyway. And gets his ass kicked for it.

For the first time he and Sid bond and they come to a more cordial understanding. (They'd never see each other as father and son, but at least they could be friends.)

For some reason when I daydreamed about this my brain insisted on evil!Ali (maybe Johnny and Daniel fell in love on the beach and she didn't take that well) and non-evil!Cobra Kai (and Kreese would end up having a soft spot for Daniel). But this last paragraph might not be workable for some people so feel free to ignore that.
