Daniel receives a mysterious package in the mail. An VHS that says: "WATCH ME"

Curious, he goes to the only person he knows who still owns a VHS player: Johnny.

Right as they are about to pop it in, Daniel steps out for a call. Johnny pops it in anyway. He is shocked to see a young Daniel Larusso, a Cobra Kai gi hanging off his shoulders, riding a man with a black ponytail. It's obvious from the footage that Daniel is unaware he is being filmed. (Note: But the sex itself should not be noncon or dubcon. Daniel should very much be into it.)

Not sure what I want this to be! I guess I want it to be a "Daniel tells Johnny about Terry Silver (with the added angle of Silver and Daniel having had a sexual relationship)" kinda story and a "Johnny finds out about bi subby Daniel" kinda story all rolled into one. Daniel should be very upset about the tape, and the fact that it could only be Terry Silver who sent it. I suppose it could be left open-ended, with the threat of Terry Silver's return hanging over Daniel, as well as Johnny feeling very newly protective and possessive of Daniel.

Hey Op, I really like this prompt and kinda want to take a stab at it but wanted to ask if you were cool with me exploring the consent issues surrounding the daniel/terry pieces.

Like, the video taping part of course, but also because i was going to place the sexual relationship happening before Daniel finds out about Terry & Kreese's plan, so there's a lot of manipulation involved. Daniel at 18 was enthusiastic but woefully uniformed and couldn't make an educated decision. At 50+ he can look back and see all the red flags and abuse that was happening. He never really worked through the betrayal of it all and he's forced into processing it after the tape. Terry definitely took advantage of his position of power and it takes 30 years for Daniel to go, "you know, that was kinda fucked up."

YES, thank you, all of that sounds exactly like what I want this to be! Young Daniel was totally into it; I’m picturing Silver as his first gay experience, his first realization that he was into men and that he liked being cared for/controlled physically/sexually and Silver was perfect for that. In my head I picture Silver being really touchy with Daniel on the mat (and I mean it really was like that in KK3) and when he discovered that Daniel was affected by his touches, he leaned into that, until it resulted in the type of sexual relationship seen on the tape. But yeah older Daniel should absolutely be horrified/repulsed by Terry and all the ways he used and manipulated Daniel before revealing his true colors. And he should be chilled to the bone at the realization that Silver was always 5 steps ahead by creating that video and hanging on to it like a secret weapon to unleash against Daniel to, what? To get him to back off Cobra Kai/Kreese? To blackmail him for favors? To just mess with him? Daniel don’t know.

As for the Johnny/Daniel aspect, I kinda want that to be more vague or ambiguous if that’s okay? Like, they’re not quite friends, but there’s definitely something there between them, ignored and suppressed at all times. But after what Johnny sees and learns, he can’t pretend he doesn’t care deeply for Daniel, maybe even surprising both of them by the enormity of his reaction/feelings when he has the full story. But I guess I don’t really want anything romantic or sexual to happen between them, though definitely a hint of romance or feelings/pining is ok. I just kinda want the focus to be on Daniel, and on Johnny understanding Daniel better, understanding why he’s so against Cobra Kai, etc.

I mean, this is all just what I have in mind. Whichever way you roll with it, if you write it, I’m sure will be great! Thanks so much for considering my prompt!

Op again 😅 just wanna add that the kink I have in mind is not so much “riding” as it is generally “dom/sub” since riding is just specifically what’s happening in the video but the Terry/Daniel relationship I pictured for this is best described as dom/sub (no bdsm). Just wanted to clarify!

My thoughts were to start Johnny & Daniel off as frenemies (pretty much date night canon lol) and having them grow closer as Daniel starts processing things. Johnny just running head first into the realization that he not only gives a shit, but he's absolutely furious on Daniel's behalf.

I do want to progress things from frenemies, to friends, to Johnny and Daniel dancing around each other, and Johnny being determined to give Daniel a healthy relationship or die trying lol. I'll break it into parts so that there's a good stopping point before things progress, so everything else is optional. :) Does that sound good?

I think I get what you mean by the dom/sub part. It sounds like undertones, or light d/s, what with Terry ordering him around, manhandling him, and Daniel enjoying not being the one in charge. I'll steer clear of the BD & SM parts (as those fall outside my comfort zone too.)

I'll keep any further exploration into the later parts, but it'll be light no matter where it goes, if anywhere. I kinda want to go for soft dom Johnny, mostly that's just so I can write kink negotiations and after care.
