There's already a couple fics on AO3 about Kreese nearly killing Daniel by stabbing him and nearly losing him made Johnny realize his feelings, but I'd like the swap of that: Daniel's slow enough that Kreese chokes Johnny into unconsciousness/not breathing, Daniel freaking out as he tries to revive him, etc.
