Ali goes back home once she’s graduated college and happens to come across Johnny, who’s working some min wage job and living in a shitty apartment. She decides that she wants to put old grievances between them to rest.

She expects him to be a little embarrassed and surprised by her, but she also thinks he’ll be agreeable to friendship. She does not expect the way he flinches at her touch or his distant if grudgingly polite dismissal of her.

She knows she should do as he asks and leave him alone, but she’s always been too nosy for her own good.

And then she meets Terry Silver, Johnny’s new boss, the guy who supposedly took Johnny in when Sid kicked him out. The guy whose eyes Johnny can never seem to meet. The guy whose inappropriate touching freezes Johnny in his tracks.

This could also be Daniel/Johnny (Daniel taking Ali’s place) or Daniel/Johnny/Ali.
