Imagine if Johnny died taking a blow meant for Daniel.

Post season 2, after Robby runs away after the school fight, Johnny goes out looking for him every single day until he finds him living on the streets. Robby doesn’t want to go home with him and doesn’t want to call the police, so Johnny respects his wishes but stays with him, paying for what he needs whenever he can, buying his own sleeping bag so he can sleep wherever Robby sleeps, etc. and just trying to keep him safe. And he doesn’t leave, no matter how many times Robby asks him to go away.
