Some years post KK canon, Daniel and Johnny are both, coincidentally, at the same gay bar and one of them sucks the other's dick through a glory hole. At some point the anonymity gets compromised and they realise they're even more into it.

Johnny grew up watching his mum use Sid's money to buy the best and most beautiful clothes. He longs to know what that fabric will feel like against his skin.

That first time he dresses up, he feels disgusted with himself and swears never again. Then he swears only the dresses...

One day in full make up and jewels he tells himself he will only dress up and only for himself.

The next time he shaves his legs and reaches for the vibrator. He promises himself no-one will ever know. He is still a bad ass black belt to the rest of the world and wants it to stay that way.

Later Johnny has become a regular at a club where he goes by the alias 'Danielle'. The smiles in his cute dresses, revealing a bit too much of his smooth legs to score a drink, bats his big blue eyes and plays coyly with his golden locks. He feels safe in his alias, knowing his.cobras would be caught dead here.

And then he spots LaRusso stumbling in, apparently oblivious that this is a gay bar until he gets an eye full of his karate rival in a dress that hugs him in all the right places.

YOOOOO DEFINITELY NEED THIS!!

YouTube was both a big help and no help at all. The average beauty blogger's idea of a simple everyday look involved two kinds of foundation and three concealers and God knows what else. It was intimidating. Also he (she? They? He shook his head and resolved to circle back on this later) had 'mature' skin apparently. Years of skin as tight as a coiled spring and he had to wait until it turned to crepe paper before trying to learn how to do a basic smoky eye.

He was starting out with just eyes and, occasionally, lips, because none of Amanda's shades matched him and he could not be less ready to rock up to Sephora to get colour matched.

"You could buy stuff online and give whatever isn't right to a local women's shelter. They're always looking for gently used cosmetics." Amanda said with her chin hooked over his shoulder as he glared at himself in her vanity.

"I look like a racoon," Daniel muttered. "I don't know, Mandy, it's a lot of money to be spending on stuff that's not right."

"A very, very sexy racoon," she replied and turned her head to give him a kiss. "Also, honey, good drug-store foundations do exist. Most people don't go straight to high-end brands when they start out."

He bought five shades of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous foundation and then a bunch of stuff from Nyx and e.l.f. as a decoy.

"Looking very luminous today, baby," Amanda said with a twinkle in her eye the first time he walked out of the bathroom with a full face on.

He ducked and blushed. She got up and kissed him.

"You're beautiful," she said firmly.

Obviously, wearing makeup to karate training wasn't practical so Johnny didn't really see much of a change until she pierced her ears.

"I can't take 'em out for another few weeks, so go easy on the headlocks," Daniela muttered sotto voce to Johnny before class.

"Sure," Johnny replied. He smiled. "They're nice."

"Shut the hell up," she replied with colour high in her cheeks.

"Jeez, you try to give a compliment," Johnny rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Mx L, I like the studs!" Demetri said as he walked past.

Work was… well. They were still getting dressed up in corporate boy drag every day to go to the dealership and no one at work besides Amanda knew. The earrings drew a little bit of notice, but the general consensus among staff was their fearless leader's ongoing midlife crisis had taken a different turn.

Jesus. What if that's what it was?

Then they hired Felicity, who had her pronouns printed on her resume and had haltingly explained that some of her references would remember a Charlie, and they decided: fuck it.

They bought a pencil skirt and the most sensible heels you could get in a size 12 and just brazened it out.

"Nice pins, cuz," Louie said.

There had been a company wide email explaining that Daniel would be using new pronouns in addition to he/him and identified as genderqueer. How this would affect their public image and branding was TBD.

"Operative word in that sentence: cousin," Anoush hit Louie lightly on the arm.

"I'm trying to be supportive!"

"Maybe don't compliment anyone's legs in the workplace, fellas," Daniel said and kept walking towards the office.

The first time Johnny saw him in a dress, his jaw dropped.

Daniela squirmed under the weight of his eyes and looked back towards the door.

"I can go change," he said. "If you…"

"What? Don't be stupid," Johnny snapped. "I told you: anyone has a problem, that's their fuckin' problem. And, besides, I just-"

He ducked his head and blushed: a curious mirror to Daniela's almost default reaction these days.

"You look very pretty today, dude," Johnny said, meeting his eyes again shyly. "It's nice."

Daniela's heart squirmed now.

"Oh," he said. "Th- thanks."

Much later, Johnny turned to him in the bar.

"It's not the dress or like… the makeup or whatever," he said. "You just look happy. It's a good look on you."

When she got home she went over to her beautiful wife and kissed her cheek and said: "I think I have feelings for Johnny."

"You think?" she said with a smile and one raised eyebrow.

Her face twisted and then Amanda kissed her lips firmly.

"I know, baby. It's okay."

"Do you prefer significant other or partner?" Amanda asked. "Or spouse?"

"Any and all," Daniela replied. "And, I mean, in some contexts husband is still gonna be what we're going with."

Amanda tapped her chin for a moment and looked into their eyes. "Do you like wife?"

They felt the odd lurch of imposter syndrome they often felt when contemplating more feminine modes.

"Cos I think I like it," she said, pulling her legs beneath her on the bed and leaning closer.

"We can try it out," they said, resting their head on hers. "Just us."

"Okay, wife," she replied. "I love you."

"I love you too, wife."

"Wait," Daniel pulled his lips away from Johnny's. "Is this because it's less gay now?"

Johnny smiled at him and pushed his hair back.

"And they say I'm the dumb one," he said fondly.

Daniel let out a little relieved laugh.

"Okay, sorry, I'm just a bit… a lot of new things recently."

Johnny took his hand and put it over his heart.

"Nothin' new about this."

YES OMG THIS. Maybe one of their voices compromise it?

Daniel recieves a sex tape, and while it's clearly him in the video, he has no recollection of ever making these videos (drugs? Aphrodesiac?). When more videos come, he starts to lose it.

Would love to have a little Lawrusso, maybe him leaning on Johnny for comfort. OR could go even further and have a little Dark!Daniel where it's a fake scenario to win Johnny's affections, or Dark!Johnny using these tapes to force Daniel to lean on him.
