I am cool with both crossdressing and trans headcanon fic; I just wanna know which it is!

Different anon: the situation’s complicated, you can go through the comments to get a little bit of an idea of what’s going on! The author’s stated that Daniel isn’t a trans girl in this fic, but also that what’s going on isn’t purely crossdressing. If it helps to clarify things, the fic and later fics in the series use both she and he pronouns for Daniel(le), sometimes even in the same sentence. “Genderplay” is probably the fairest description.

Post-season 3, Johnny has broken up with Carmen and wants to try something new for a change. For years he’s been avoiding his attraction to men, pretending it’s not there, that that’s not him, but something comes over him to go out with the intention of bringing a guy back.

He finds a guy from a bar/club who he likes and decides to bring him back to his place. Of course that’s when Daniel shows up (probably pissed at Johnny for something as usual), and even though Johnny tries to hide it, Daniel figures out what’s going on with him and the random stranger in his living room.

Embarrassed and angry and still mostly in denial, Johnny tries to throw them both out, but Daniel can’t make himself leave. For some reason he’s angry himself, mostly because he can’t help thinking, why did Johnny need to go out and find some perfect stranger to figure this out with when Daniel was here all along?

(I would prefer that Daniel/Amanda be divorced or in the process, please no cheating or threesome)

Daniel has been fairly consistent in looking after Johnnys physical wellbeing throughout the series. Johnny been fairly consistent in his self harming.

Post s3 Johnnys going through something and starts aggressively picking a physical fight with Daniel. Essentially he knows Daniel has a temper and wants him to beat the shit out of him.

Daniel doesn't rise to the bait and instead is gentle/kind/concerned and looks after him.

This, weirdly, leaves Johnny feeling a lot more vulnerable than if Daniel had beaten him up.

Ever since he was a kid (remember the sunglasses in KK1? Remember the sneaking around in KK3?) Daniel has had a habit of hiding injuries from his family.

So when he gets hurt (maybe he gets mugged or Terry Silver beats the tar outta him when he returns) he pretends nothing happened and hides the injuries. Even though they need actual medical attention.

Johnnys spent enough time in Dojos go know when someone's hurt and not admitting it. Unlike Mr Miyagi or Daniel’s mother he won't put up with his bullshit and will forcibly strip him and perform first aid if he has to.

There was a really good prompt on here about how rape was the one line Kreese wouldn't cross, and he attacks Terry once he finds out he did that to Daniel. I started thinking about what if Terry was the one that wouldn't cross that line?

Suppose Kreese rapes Johnny to punish him for losing the tournament, and then tells Sid that Johnny came on to him to get him thrown out of the house. Distraught and homeless, Johnny turns to the only person he could think of-Sensei Silver, who he only met a handful of times but always liked, and more importantly, had his number for since Terry was Kreese's emergency contact.

Terry is horrified at what his former war buddy had done and vows to let Johnny stay with him and help him recover. Then Kreese shows up, not knowing Johnny's there, and wants to put KK3 in motion. Terry realizes he can use this.

What Kreese (and Mike) don't realize is while they think KK3 is happening like it does in canon, Terry is training Daniel right, and eventually tells Daniel everything, reuniting him with a still recovering Johnny in the process.

So Kreese is blindsided when Terry goes to stand by Daniel and Johnny's side at the All-Valley.

Up to you if Terry is a few inches closer to the light or if Daniel and Johnny embrace their inner darkness (I can see it either way).

Also up to you what, if any, permutation of SilverLawRusso is endgame.

Daniel is drugged and wakes up hours later dumped somewhere, in a lot of pain and confusion. It becomes obvious pretty quickly that he was fucked hard for God knows how long by God knows who.

He's injured and disoriented and just needs help and doesn't want his family to know.So he calls Johnny, begging for help.

Bonus if Johnnys seen some fucked up shit in his life and actually deals really well with the situation.

Daniel and Johnny are having a secret affair. Johnny keeps saying he doesn't want to go behind Amanda's back, and Daniel keeps saying he's going to tell her soon, but he never gets round to it.

Amanda finds out and is absolutely furious, so while she's in the process of divorcing Daniel and taking him for everything he's worth and making sure he never gets to see the kids, she also sets out to ruin Johnny's life too because she thinks he led Daniel astray.

She anonymously calls social services and tells them a lie that Johnny has been inappropriate with children at his karate classes. The accusations and investigation brings up a lot of trauma for Johnny because he was sexually abused as a child by one of his mother's boyfriends before she met Sid.

I always liked the idea of a Lawrusso story from Amanda's side, as too often she is either none existent or seems to be strangely cool with being lied to and cheated on. But I would prefer it more sympathetic rather than just evil woman won't let our boys be together. Maybe something from her POV as she is never given that in fics.

Maybe he's not feeling well and has no appetite. Maybe he literally can't afford food and won't admit it. Maybe he's just a himbo and forgot to. Or maybe the stress and guilt is getting to him and he's giving himself an eating disorder.

But Daniel (or Amanda) notices and tries desperately to get Johnny to eat before he passes out or makes things worse.

There's an episode of Bob's Burgers where Bob starts sleepwalking on some allergy medication and dreaming he was potty-training his daughter Tina, when in reality he keeps dropping the turkeys he's preparing for Thanksgiving into the toilet; he doesn't realize he's the one doing and he keeps buying more turkeys under the assumption someone is trying to ruin Thanksgiving in the house, which leads the guy in the deli-department to conclude Bob is buying up all those turkeys as an excuse to flirt with him and a cute/funny exchange follows where Bob's bisexuality is teased.

Anyway, it made me think of Johnny and how many times he's had to replace his TV after 3 seasons. I'm imagining a scenario where Johnny goes to replace his TV again and the guy in the electronics department is almost certain at this point he's just coming in buying TVs to flirt. So, he calls Johnny on it and is making his interest known and Johnny, who had been entirely clueless up to that point, is completely caught off guard (bonus points if he didn't even realize he had been buying TVs from the same guy) and now this guy is aggressively hitting on him under the assumption Johnny was trying to pick him up.

Who should overhear the entire exchange but Daniel LaRusso, who can't help finding the whole situation funny and he decides to help Johnny out (and also maybe have a bit of fun of his own) by going over to act like he and Johnny are a couple and the broken TVs are because they both run a dojo together and sometimes get a little carried away (in more ways than one *wink wink*). Johnny tries to play off the embarrassment because it works and the salesman backs off but when he shows up at Miyagi-Do a few days later "out of curiosity" he has no choice but to act as if he and Daniel are more than just co-senseis.

Bonus if after all that and it seems they've sufficiently convinced the salesman that Johnny and Daniel are really a couple Johnny ends up calling Daniel up anyway because he's broken another TV and he had to pick up a new one and since that place is where he has the warranty (it's not like he can just keep replacing broken TVs without a warranty) he just needs Daniel to come along so the salesman doesn't get any ideas and if he offers to pay for them to grab a bite afterward it's not a date or anything it's just him buying him a meal for his trouble...right?

I'll leave it up to a/a where this goes but I like the idea of Daniel and Amanda having a perfectly happy open marriage where seeing other people is fine so long as they're both being safe and honest about it with each other (in fact, more bonus points if Amanda and Carmen have been seeing each other).

Somewhat inspired by the "Sam asks Johnny for sex advice" prompt but with a different twist -- at some point Miguel & Sam get back together and Miguel asks Johnny advice about condoms, how to make it good for a girl when it's your first time, etcetera. Johnny obviously realizes Miguel is talking about Sam and thinks maybe he should mention something to Daniel, but knows he'll freak-- so he goes to Amanda instead.

This is SO cute, I hope it gets filled!

I've had a really crummy few weeks so I could use some h/c right about now.
